About me

I graduated from the Kielce School of Arts in the class of the fabric.

In 1982 I received a diploma at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Industrial Design. My professional life is divided between both of my love: a unique fabric and design of useful objects and graphics.

Easy access to locksmith tools (precision laser cutting) has caused my fascination with design furniture and other everyday objects with various metals with the addition of exotic wood.

After years of experience in the field of metal with great pleasure that I returned to the loom.

Touch of fibers forming the tapestry is a warm complement to the world of metal. Perhaps once tempted to reconciliation of the two fields.

The true meaning of my life is close to nature.
To experience it every day, exchanged a warm Warsaw apartment cottage, surrounded by Forest Bolimowska, full of wild boars, deer, foxes and the smell of spruce. Birds raise and accompany us to the twilight, announcing spring, goodbye summer, winter, titmice can count on bacon and beans on our terrace. Domestic cats and dogs herd supervises our common habitat.

I use many types of fibers for weaving, using different values of each. From rural sheep fleece wool spin itself, adjusting its thickness to the needs of the fabric. Sometimes the whole house is immersed in clouds of steam saturated with the smell of vinegar, when it is time to dye the material to work. Terrace looks great, full of drying in the sun hanks of yarns fabulous colors.

Cordially invite you to visit my studio in the countryside. For our guests always waiting for warm coffee and tea.
